If you are looking for a great, original muscle car, look no further. This ragtop Camaro has the original 327 motor, PG tranny, and 10 bolt rear. All numbers match on this car. The car is practically like a new car, everything being restored or replaced as original. All of the body panels are original to the car, with the exception of a new trunk lid, which sports a brand new spoiler. This car is razor straight. The car has fresh PPG base/clear Bolero Red paint, which has been sanded and buffed to a mirror finish. The paint is fabulous on this car. The engine and tranny were removed, freshened up, and painted as original. The radiator was replaced with a brand new 23" radiator, as well as a new shroud. All hoses, clamps, and belts were replaced during the restoration, using original type clamps and hoses. The car also has new fuel and transmission lines. The car runs and shifts perfectly. The interior was completely redone, using reproduction seat covers, door panels, new dash pad, new carpet, new rear view mirror, and all new chrome. The interior was completely painted while stripped. All new weatherstripping was installed, including for the convertible top, and the door fuzzies. The car sports a brand new convertible top, and it fits nice and snug. The well liner and tacking strips were also replaced. Also included is a brand new top boot. All chrome and stainless, including bumpers, windshield moldings, wheel well moldings, rocker moldings, and emblems were replaced with brand new ones. New RS headlight motors were installed, as well as new relays. The trunk has been freshly detailed with new splatter paint and a new trunk mat and spare cover. This car even has the date coded original jack included. The car has new shocks, new front end bushings, new gas tank and straps, and brand new 2 1/4 inch exhaust. The brakes were completely redone from the master cylinder to new wheel cylinders, shoes, and hoses. The brakes work perfectly, with no pulling to either side. The drivers side floor pans were replaced with new pans, as there was some rust through in this area. There were also some small patch areas in the center trunk pan as well, but this was repaired and is now very solid. The car sports a brand new tinted windshield as well as brand new Goodyear Eagle tires, mounted on 14 inch GM Rally wheels. The original am radio is also included with this car, the front speaker was replaced with a dual speaker for stereo applications.
This car is ready to roll, and it really turns heads. I drove it 300 miles over last weekend, and it performed perfectly. The original 327 is very strong, keeps great oil pressure, and runs cool and steady.
