c6

Saw a 05 c6 red. I love that car. Honestly, it is only a couple thousand less then a new one. New one, I can lease and leave the cash in the bank. Used, I have to take the money out of the bank, so I think I am going new.

Ok, I dont like to haggle. Best place to go for a lease in NY area.

Kids bat mitvahs, sweat 16 parties, college weddings all good things. buy hey, It is my turn. I am talking for you to buddy!

Whoa. There are actually 3 possibilities here. Certainly lease is one and that might be valid if you are planning on replacing the car after

24 or 36 months.

You sound though as though this car will be a personal-use 'keeper' for several more years. If so, it's time to check for any GM offers of zero percent money in the NYC/NJ/Conn. area. If so, you get to keep the money in the bank, finance the car and, over 5 years, probably beat the cost of a lease.

Looking at the purchase option also gives you a more valid price comparison between the used C5 and a new C6. Personally, I don't lease anything unless more than 85% of the lease expense comes out of a business account and there's no charge-back to me, tax-wise, at the end of the year.

I agree with Dad -- a couple of thou difference between a new Corvette and an used one isn't even pocket change -- unless you *know* what that car was doing and what was being done to it.
