Ok here is another pro / con comment post.
I have a 92K1500 5.7
I've removed the factory air cleaner and have installed an open element eldebrock air filter housing with about a 3 inch tall wix air filter.
Thought about replacing that with one of the K&N cold air intakes that takes advantage of the factory cold air duct that brings air in through the right hand fender from around the right hand head light. Anyway wondering what the views of the group are on the cold air intakes vs. the old style open air filter setup.
