Hey all,
I have a 90 model Z71 Reg Cab Z71; it's a good truck, (166,000 miles) new motor and tranny rebuilt, but i have the smaller brakes (10 in. rears I think) anyway, are the front brakes smallers as well? Reason i ask is i have 285 75 16's on it and it stops ok, but not great; I haul a JD 855 tractor and cut grass as well as i fish pretty regularly and I'd like to look at upgrading the braking system? Is there a kit to upgrade the older Z71's to the heavy duty braking package or anything like that? Any help is appreciated!
