1969 250 Chevy Pickup Engine

Thanks to all for the suggestions. What it turned out to be was a simple screw that came out of the points. Once new screw installed and gapped properly the truck started right away. The distributor was set properly as I did check that as well. The remanufactured engine runs so sweeet.

It is tuff to beat some of those pre smog sixes for smoothness and power without a fuss at low to middle RPM?s. Below 2000 RPM they can beat a small V8 a in pulling power.
