chevy s10 pulsatting brakes

This just started in the last week or so. At first I just thought it was our horrible roads from winter.

Chevy 1996 S10, 4 cylinder approx 50K miles I had the brakes checked last year and service man said they were fine and didn't need replacement (origianal brakes). They had plenty of pad left.

Lately, when slowly coming to a stop, at a light or stop sign, I can feel a slight bounce, sort of like a washboard road. It's like the antilock was pulsating slightly. There is no sound, such as when you do lock them up in an emergency stop.

Just this slight feeling like a rumble warning strip.

50 year driver and always was light on brakes.

Any ideas before I take it in to Chevy (which I hate to do)

BTW, checked the brake fluid and it was normal.

please and thank you.

Sounds like the rotors are out of parallel. Very common with long term use and unrelated to pad wear. Simple turning/ machining of the rotors is the cure. Replace pads at same time.
