Chevy TrailBlazer questions

Dec 17, 2004 1 Replies

What year model did GM remove the 'CHEVROLET' emblem from the liftgate of the TrailBlazer and replace it with a bowtie logo right above the license plate housing? I liked the way it looked when it first came out in 2002.

Does GM still offer the LTZ trim package for the TrailBlazer? Lastly, does the 2005 model year TrailBlazer come with an underhood and glovebox light?

Thanks in advance for any info that you can offer me regarding the above inquiries.

Well, after visiting a dealership today I now have the answer to all of my questions above. Just in case anyone else is shopping the TrailBlazer, here are the answers to my list of questions pertaining to the Chevy TrailBlazer.

The 2005 model year TrailBlazer is not available in the LTZ trim/options package. Salesman didn't say whether or not the LTZ was available in year models after 2002 when the vehicle debuted. The underhood and glove box lights were eliminated in 2003. Lastly, the 2005 model year is when GM added the bowtie emblem to the top edge of the license plate housing and removed the name 'CHEVROLET' from the lower right corner of the liftgate.

Thanks anyway!
