Why would anyone reply to a statistically insignificant event? Your experience is irrelevant. The fact remains that extended warranties are more than 90% pure profit for sellers, which means you are getting ripped off. Unless of course you happen to be that 1 person in a hundred who gets lucky and has his car break down, which isn't the kind of luck I want.
