you already have front DISC brakes now, The rear drums supply less than 30% of the braking power. If you can lock up the rear drums now, and you should be able to, then how will rear discs stop better?

You dont understand why disks are better on all 4 shoes then do you? Drums tend to fade very quickly. They do not give up the heat generated by heavy braking near as fast as a disk, thus, the :less than 30%: offered by the rear, can quickly drop to less than 5%.
