Rear gear 4:11
I have a 10 bolt 8.2 rear end with 4:11 gears. I saw some 2:73 10 bolt 8.2 gears on ebay and was wondering if they would fit my carrier? If not what would I need to make them fit?

Most WS6 cars with the 5.0L LG4 had 3.23 gears. Whats your RPM at 60MPH? If its around 1800 RPM then you have a 3.23. If you can find the build sheet in the car it will have the rear end ratio.

As Joe said, the GM service manual has a wiring schematic but you are WAY better off spending the $135 on a new engine wire harness. After 30 years the original is pretty crispy.
