CMP Sensor

My check engine light came on. The KOEO test returns CM 214, CID circuit failure. I've been reading through troubleshooting procedure for this and I have a question I hope some one can answer. The last step of the procedure, directs you to measure the AC voltage that the CMP sensor puts out at varying RPM. The check is "Does the AC voltage vary greater than 0.1 volt AC?"

Here are my questions. What is voltage put out on a normally working camshaft position sensor and PCM? What is the range of voltages produced under varying RPMs?

Thanks Jay
