How to unstick an IAC?

I've been having some typical problems with my Explorer not keeping idle. I've cleaned the IAC once ad it fixed it, for a while. The other night I had to just rev up the engine for a second to clear it out. Today I noticed its doing the same thing. Tried cleaning it and no luck this time. I did some more research on this NG and noticed someone said you need to unstick the valve with a small tool. My question is where exactly do I apply pressure to force the valve open? Is is somewhere inside the open "chamber" where the spring is located? Or is it on the otherside of the unit where I see a small silver indent?

Thanks for any help,

Jesse

You might consider just replacing it. $40 at NAPA.
