warman steals shop tools

Would it not be simpler to use the correct tools (which your dealership

>should possess) to select the correct pinion shim in one simple operation? I >would think that a Master tech would have passed Specialty 36 and learned >how to use these tools. > >

Actually, I have two t cases.... one in my SuperCrew and one in the 94 I gave to my boy....

As far as stealing stuff? It's you we wont leave in a room alone. Since MY dealership HAS these tools, it's doubtful that ours have been stolen..... OTOH, your dealership appears to NOT have these tools. That would mean that SOMEONE in YOUR shop is a thief.......

So.... let's see.... can't post a receipt and RO.... uses barbaric methods to adjust pinion depth... no idea of what spec 36 is.... and a logic process one can only describe as "amazing".....

BTW... while I have once again risen to the bait, this does not imply that you are a burr under my saddle. Far from it, if anyone is furiously pounding at the keyboard with throbbing temples, it is, most assuredly, not me. If I have issues, it is with the fact that more publicity and more funding is afforded AIDS research (in my humble opinion a disease of "lifstyle") than is offered to Crohns research. Other than that..... Well, I am building a

600+ square foot addition and winter is coming.... a little "house building stress" is there... But, in the words of Joe Walsh - "life's been good to me so far..."

The person with issues that should be addressed is our little, pet hurl... I mean hurc. He has only proven, time and again, that he is ill-suited for much of anything... probably gains most of his knowledge from technical pubs like "CarCraft" and the ilk....If he were a real man, he would e-mail any one of his pet peeves (those that he needs to belittle because they do know more than he) off group.

Sorry to take up the bandwidth, folks... I'll try to stifle my urges in the future.
