2000 Hyundai Accent parking lights and tail lights stay on all the time. Tried pulling fuses, and relays one at a time with no change.Prior to this while my assistant was cleaning dash area, he brushed against some wires in the area of the radio which was removed by previous owner, Subsequently,the wires began smoldering. Not sure if problem is somehow related.Also around the same time went through thorough inspection of all lights and then discovered the parking light issue. Any input would be grately appreciated.

Is it the lamps one side or both sides of the car that stay on? The radio is on the parking lamp circuit, so it'd be a good idea to make sure all exposed wiring is isolated and covered to prevent short circuit.
