Well I never fully got the issue sorted out, other than it definitely was in the security system....BUT it doesn't matter. I sold the 07 Elantra (the problem child) to my mechanic (who is a friend and car dealer). I bought a 2014 Elantra GT about three weeks ago. I bought my wife a 2014 Accent Hatchback today! That leaves me with an 05 Elantra GT which I am giving to my son as a second car (he recently bought a house in a rural area). Thanks again to Hyundaitech, you have helped me a lot over the years ever since I got my first Hyundai which was an 03. So the one I bought today is my 5th!
