Hi everyone. Taken the plunge & gone back to a Jag. Just brought it home and behaved fine to start with but then when I indicated (seems mainly to be right indication) the interior display lights mostly disappear & so do the rear lights. They are back when I fiddle with the light controls but this is rather intriguing. Been looking at relays & fuses without success so far - anyone have any ideas that may help please? thanks. Sandy.

Without being there, it sounds like it could be a wire under the dash, shorted to ground. Check around the steering column for any wires that are chaffing against the dash metal. Also, see if you can tell where any panels have been removed that wiring may be under(for instance, a carpet change or body penetration). Someone may have pinched a wire when replacing the panel. Joe
