FS 5-speed manual 1984 XJ VDP

Just bought another Jaguar so I have to cull the herd (63 FHC E, 94 XJ40 12 cylinder, Mercedes TE 300 wagon, 28 ft. RV....)

The car for sale is a Black/Doeskin 1984 VDP that I had converted to standard transmission using all Jaguar parts imported from England. Texas car, I am the third owner (my father was the second). Car is currently in Montreal. Its a daily driver that runs and drives fine. no rust paint is fair (cracked in places) roughly 80,000 miles new front shocks 20,000 miles ago new rear shocks 5,000 miles ago new A-arm bushings (yes, the red poly ones), steering rack bushings (same), front subframe bushings, rear v-mount, large and small trailing arm bushings 5,000 miles ago rebuilt front calipers and new pads 5,000 miles ago rebuild differential 20,000 miles ago rear sears in perfect condition, front squabs OK, each front cushion has one split at a sewn seam (roughly $1,000 for new ones) nice lattice wheels (have the originals as well) new Perilli rubber (approx 2,000 miles)

You have to try a manual XJ to see what an improvement it makes over the Borg Warner three-speed slushbox!!!!! Its like driving a new car.

I want this car to go to a good home. Price is negotiable (the parts to convert to manual cost $3,000)

Give me a call (514-244-1963), or e-mail me ( snipped-for-privacy@ca.inter.net)
