Just got a letter from Jaguar this weekend (UK) to ask me to book my X type SE in for a "safety related recall"
Sounds small beer - replace the electronic control module because a problem has been noted with the external indicator system according to the letter.
I had that. The indicators blow, but you don't know because the interior indicator dash lights still work. This was traced to the GEMS unit - the 'brain' of the car. It can be reprogrammed, but mine had to replaced. Just glad the car was still under jag warranty..
