Hi all Anybody know the current status of the mastiles lane? I am planning atrip up to the Dales this holliday period and was wandering weather a spot of lanning may be doable on the same trip (before its banned)

It was closed to recreational traffic on March 1st.
Shortly after which a massive repair operation started on it. They are doing/have removed the damaged surface, shifted in a large amount of rubble/gravel as a new base for the road and then put a grass surface over the top of it. Major repairs have already been completed on one of the other 4 routes closed as well.
Strange how the money to repair the route suddenly became available after recreational traffic was stopped.
