I would like to solicit your experiences and recommendations for an after market flip down dvd system for the lx470. My wish list is:
- screen size needs to be larger than that offered by Lexus preferably in the 8-10" range. I wouldn't mind ever larger if it does not block out too much of the rearview. Does anyone have any experiences with larger than 12" screen sizes?
- I would like it to be well "integrated" (rules out strapping down a laptop) and match the interior color (grey) of the car. Are there dvd manufacturers that custom match colors?
- The actual player can be separate from the screen to reduce the "bulk".
I have considered the screen in the headrest to address the color match issue but would prefer to have 1 screen in the center. I've also considered getting one of those motorized screen units and putting that in the center console; there might be room where the cupholder is but then the screen would be too low.
