car will not ilde right and you have to play with the gas to make it run it seems like its not getting the right fuel mixture or air it sputters until about 5000 rpm but still doesnt run right it was running fine untill i got hit in thr rear end the engine light is not one

The impact probably stirred up all the crud in the bottom of your gas tank. Drain the fuel via the drain plug on the bottom of the tank, and replace the fuel filter (in the engine bay).
