auto to man

can the auto tranny come out of a 95 galant and be replaced with a standard shift mine has the 2.4 16v engine any help?

Yes, but it is a M_A_J_O_R job. You have to fit the hydraulic clutch pedal assemblies, which may need cutting holes in the firewall for the clutch master cylinder, flywheel and clutch, gear change linkage and stick + interior trim bits, probably axles, 99% likley some wiring changes. Also maybe the center member and roll stopper mounts.

You will have to do it yourself, unless you can find a garage willing to do the job. There could EASILY be 30 hours of work to do this, assuming you have all the bits on hand.

Of course, its probably cheaper to do this once than fix the auto transmission, again, and again..
