intake manifold or injectors on 93 eclipse 1.8 n\a is making a slight knock sound but when its in gear its gets louder any ideas of what it could be if so please let me know thanks for any helpyou can give S.B.
If you mean the knock is there when idling, and gets louder when driving, that sounds very much like a big end bearing. In neutral, try slowly increasing the revs (up to about 2500 is enough). If at some point (1500-2000 is typical) the knock gets louder, thats a big end. The only cure is rebuilding or replacing the engine. Replacing is generally cheaper.
