Just my luck today, I hit some construction debris on the way to work and bent my right front Bullitt rim on my 2002 GT. Here are a couple of pics:

I am very glad that you didn't have a blow out!
In 70,000 plus miles of driving my 98 cobra convertible in and around Southern California -- the only damage it ever sustained was due to road debris (oh, and one gang tag keyed into the front fender during lunch in LA which I quickly had repaired, lovingly)
I want to personally strangle every a$$hat who carries debris in the back of a truck and does not cover the bed with a tarp or otherwise secure the load properly. People DIE that way -- all too often.
In one particular instance, I was traveling at freeway speed in the left lane in fairly heavy traffic on the way to work when suddenly a 2x4 appeared flipping end over end right ahead of me.
My reaction was instinctive and the cobra beautifully jagged slightly left then right, hardly breaking traction and staying in the lane at all times, allowing the 2x4 to pass by the passenger side of the car -- missing it by a few inches.
God I love the way that car handled.
But sometimes you just can't see or avoid the debris in time to save your car. It is at times like this that you might want to consider that the damage to your car is less painful than what might have happened to you if that debris went through your windshield and nailed you, a family member, or a friend.
Check out this link, I hope it is what you are looking for!

I just bought four new Bullitt rims from my Ford dealer (Tommie Vaughn in Houston) for $135 apiece.
to me it doesnt even look that bad. im sure you could just throw some paint over it and you prolly wouldnt notice it unless you were right up on it. but i'd do that cause im cheap =)
We're all cheap ;D

Steve, you are a saint! That's exactly what I need, except I never would have thought of looking for alternative spellings of "Bullitt"! ;-) THANK YOU!!
I am very thankful nothing worse happened. Luckily I was driving defensively and not traveling very fast, since it's common for trucks not to secure their cargo around here (as evidenced by the abundant garbage lining the roads and freeways). I always try to hang back from other cars but there's always that asswipe who wants to cut in front of you--and kick up debris in the process. This is my first incident with road debris in over 15 years of careful driving, so I'm grateful the damage was just limited to a single, and easily replaceable, wheel.
P.S., I'm glad you're still around to tell your stories, and if you're ever in Phoenix let me know, (non-alcoholic) drinks are on me! Stay safe out there and enjoy your Mustang, my friend!

I had 2 wheels fixed by Wheels America for my wife's PT Cruiser. They did a fantastic job and the price was reasonable.

Dont know what it will cost to get your wheel fixed but a NEW Ford Bullitt wheel can be had for $125.
From you picture, the damage looks VERY minor and easy (cheap?) to fix if you can do it locally.

Maybe they're cheaper in bulk. My dealer (Sanderson Ford in Phoenix) quoted me $235 for one wheel.
Hi Larry, I contacted a local wheel shop (Wheel Specialists in Tempe) and they wanted $185 to attempt the repair. I don't know of any other local reputable shops that can do the job. :(
Where can I get a new Bullitt wheel for $125? Some guy bid up the ebay auction that Steve found for me, so I'll have to look elsewhere. Is this the identical wheel to what I have?

My daughter recently, last Friday, had a blow-out on my `01 drop-top. She kept driving all the way home instead of calling me. I suspect she was under the influence, but she says no. Anyhow it destroyed the tire, rim, fender well lining (caught on fire), strut, ball joint, tie-rod, and the front spoiler (pulling into the driveway). It also will need a front-end alignment of course. Insurance estimate little over $1200. Three days to get parts and another seven to repair.
Kid's you gotta love em. Anybody got a recipe?
Not to sound silly but did you check your local Ford dealer ? You never know, they may have a take off lying about the parts department. As for repairing, As long as the damage is limited to what is in the picture there are many companies who will repair your wheel or sell you a refurbished wheel. I'd suggest asking a local body shop who they get their wheels refurbished thru. Unknown to most people if your vehicle's wheels are damaged in a car accident most insurance companies will only pay for a refurbished (unless it is unavailable).
Good luck
More specifically,
Unless I found the wrong one, it looks like the price has gone up a bit. However, they have a good free shipping deal for orders over $100.
ouch can we say no allowance for a year and the kid would be lucky not to be fired out of a cannon!
Rip off!
I kind of wish I'd gone with factory rims when I upgraded my 17's to 18's 'cause it was $385 to replace ONE BBS RK rim after I collided with a curb and embankment on Halloween night! I was going to use that money for a new catback. :-(
