The T5 conversion is not that difficult. You may need to shorten the drive shaft (be sure it is properly re-balanced) and the conversion kit is fairly simple. Mine went from a four speed to a five speed pretty easily. 65 coupe.

mine went from a 5 speed to a no speed, that wasn't very difficult either! LOL
