2001 Micra IACV problem?

Jun 22, 2007 0 Replies

I had a EMS warning light up, diagnostics suggested from engine O2 sensor. Duly replaced this and CAT. (too long a story).

Anyway since then I have no EMS light but the car does not run well. It stalls regularly when pulling away, and will not accellerate as it should, it has a massive 'flat' spot.

I've been told it will be the IACV or IACV-AAC? - Without being able to get a diagnostic on it I'm reluctant to simply pay for something that will not improve the situation.

Anyone know whether the IACV being faulty would cause this kind of symptom? Are they difficult to fit?

TIA
