It's not the O2 sensors the car is waiting for to warm up, it's just that engines don't run very smoothly at all when cold, and will stall easily.

That's exactly what happens.. Corrosion on the terminals = higher resistance which the ECU reads as cooler temp. It has no way of knowing that it's reading a bit of extra resistance rather than the engine is a bit cooler.
Actually they go into closed loop rather quickly, that is the reason they use heated O2 sensors.
My sister has a 87 Nissan Maxima the idel is low and also when you push on the gas the car cuts off... I'm trying to see if it's the fuel line or is it something else.... Please let me know Thanks a million.....
