What's more is it's not overheating and it doesn't appear
to be drinking any water! Does anyone have any clue what it going on.

If it's not steam (I think it probably is) then 'greyish' white smoke indicates unburned fuel. Is there a need to top up the coolant at all? Shouldn't need more than a spoonful in a year. DaveK.
