3.4 other syptoms with surging

upon "toying " with the car, the fuel pressure is fine ,holds steady pressure in idle and run modes and car off modes, but along with the surging and die offs sporadditlly(please forgive the spelling if wrong) the car upon shutting off after running awhile and then restarting will idle higher then usuall for the first few seconds(10 or so) then drop to normal,this happens everytime,when the car acting normal upon a hot engine the car would idle high just a few seconds if that before lowering to normal,know it's twice to three as long. hope this helps bob
