I have a 99 grand am gt with a 3.4 V6 auto. It has 16,000 mi on it. Last couple months I've beening getting engine surging and the cruise control keeps cutting off. Both problems seem to appear at approximatly the same time and are both intermitent but on going. I also discovered that the powertrain control module will not set a trouble code. Believe me I've tried but it refuses to. Any ideas, I sure would appreciate it.
