My 3.8 Trans Sport (1994) generally runs very well. However, occaisionally when running at a light cruise, the engine "jerks" Almost like the torque converter lockup was chattering, but it appears to be happening even with the converter not locked. Hitting the accellerator clears it - for a short time.
The CEL DID come on once last week - can't remember the code number, but it was a Quad Driver error. Just happened to have the code reader with me when it acted up. Cannot find anything else out of the ordinary - O2 sensors responding properly, no glitches with the TPS, etc.
Anyone else have this experience, and if so what cause was found????
