Re: Glad to own a SAAB

Two instances for us. First was 85 900 T, someone had replaced an A/C hose (before we bought the car) and forgot to tie up wiring harness going to injectors, air mass meter, etc. It was shorting out on the head.

Car stalled making left hand turn and a land whale (aka motor home) ran ito right front fender. Hit it pretty hard. I popped it out with a 2 x 4 and you can't even tell.

Second, turning right into subdivision in 86 900 T, Toyota pickup thought I waved him on. Rand into left front wheel, fender. While I was having the transmission rebuilt (another story), mechanic fixed it for free, except for $22 for the molding. You can't tell unless you look really close. Toyota pickup had fender bent back against the wheel.

Never run into a SAAB 900 Classic! Never!
