While reading one of the many fine books about SAAB cars, recently, I happened across a familiar diagram and skimmed past it ... No ... Wait ... There's something different about that diagram ... Water injection? Uh?
The diagram was for a 1979 SAAB 'Super Turbo', which reputedly delivered around 170 BHP off a T8 engine and substantially more than 200 BHP on a "rally tuned" engine. Wow!
Does anyone have any further information about this car? I know it was a prototype, but I do have some evidence to suggest that this car was shown at one of the European motor shows of the time.
