Two zone ACC in 9-5.

Hi, I have a problem with heating in my 9-5 MY'01. Driver's side seems to be getting less heat than passenger side with the same settings at 23 degrees C. When checking the unit I get the reading on the unit first "0" and aftera moment "1,08". Do you have any ideas what may be causing such problem?

Thanx in advance,

Don

All the ACC fault codes are here;

1,08 means 1 fault found of type 8 which is 'Stepping motor, air-mixing flap, RH', that would explain the problems you have. I seem to recall that this requires significant wallet surgery to fix if you put it into your friendly local Saab dealer as the official repair requires the whole dash removing. If you do a bit of searching with Google, there is a DIY fix available (I think).

Cheers,

Andy

STOP PRESS - found the relevant links, read this thread on saabscentral.com, apparently there is a repair kit available in the USA as well as the DIY repair.
