My 16-year old son recently purchased a 1996 Saturn SL1 and it came with a simple AM/FM Radio. He would like to replace it with something that will play CDs (single or multiplay). I've suggested he visit a local junkyard, but I'd be interested in hearing suggestions. (Ebay?, new unit that would fit into dash?
If he does go with the salvage method, what year vehicles can he try to find a CD player from? Also, are there any other vehicles whose factory radio will fit (connectors, mounting hardware, and dash cut out) his '96 Saturn?
