Hi all,
bought an A/C crank pulley from Tony Patane at Reedsville, got it all cleaned up and painted. When test fitting against an extra P/S pulley it appears to be "deeper" than I thought it should be. The rear edge of the A/C pulley is about 1/4" to 3/8" forward of the front edge of the P/S pulley when I use the standard pulley spacer. Going by the pics that Tom "sbca96" posted on the SDC forums of the engine that he bought it appears that the A/C pulley should be almost tight up against the P/S pulley, correct? If so, what did I buy? Can I make it work? It appears to be the right diameter and the right groove size.
thanks,
nate
