That's a pretty neat idea, but I've had another one.
I know the electronics behind those circuits is not very complicated and seem to recall plans for one years ago in some magazine, they called it a "Mist Switch".
I've thought about trying that circut and replacing the existing windshield wiper switch with a headlight switch. The rheostat meant for dimming the dash lights could be used to control the mist switch, the parking position could be low wiper and the regular headlight position by high speed.
