If anyone has Any idea, I would sure appreciate it, I too am too poor to afford a mechanic, but mech inclined enough to follow instructions and check ideas

Thanks for your consideration

Is the check engine light on? If so, start by posting codes. Google the group here for instructions, as they've been posted a gazzillion times. (-;

Pete, Have you looked at the wiring? It could be corrosion in the connectors especially at that age. Sparky

When you say "ignition computer", do you mean the ignitor module? ~2inX3in black module on the firewall behind the engine? If not, try that. Otherwise, as suggested, check all wiring, harness connectors, and other assorted connections in the engine compartment. As in pull the connectors apart, check for corrosion or loose/out of position pins, clean, and re-mate. Particularly check cam and crank position sensors. See if you can get it to give you a trouble code. As a last resort, put in another ECU. If this doesn't get you going, ya gots troubles in a big way; start going over the engine compartment grounding, maybe? Unlikely, but possible you replaced a bad module with another bad one? Find someone with a working car and swap components if at all possible. Should be mostly the same hardware thru '94 or so.

Good luck. ByeBye! S.
