hi,
i am thinking of replacing the stock airbox with a cold air intake. beside improved breathing, i am hoping to get rid of the airbox which sits on top of clutch cable adjustment nuts, which is a bit of pain when adjusting clutch. the car is 2000 outback sport (impreza, us model). does subaru make such part? (spt perhaps?) any recommendation? suggestions and comments would be appreciated. btw, a friend who got wrx (us model) did vishinu mod, and put back his original air box as it was suggested that the cold air intake does no good for performance enhancement. i wonder if it's the same case with non-turbo flat engines?
