handbrake operation question

Jan 18, 2007 1 Replies

On very steep hills in models with no hill holder is the handbrake alone without foot brake supposed to be strong enough to hold a car in place? If not what adjustments are typically made?

Actually, you'll find handbrake adjustments listed rather frequently in the service schedule.

Yes, it should be enough. If it's not an adjustment is needed.
