2000 ford taurus ses lite on code po 442

hey ya all-usually deal xclusivly w/s/t 10 blazers but I have encountered a 2000 Ford Taurus 3.0L v-6. SES lite on code po 442. I have a tech 2 GM scan tool for the GM products I service also have an Auto x-ray as a back-up/source to scan other makes and models. Thus how I pulled this code. Any ideas? I know w/the Blazers-gas cap is usually the first thought but seldom the answer. Secondly the EVAP celonoid above the rear differential is usually the culprit but...there are also many other possibilities...Any thoughts on a Taurus! Thanks in advance for any help. Unlike the Tech 2, the Auto x-ray. to my knowledge, has no EVAP test abilities-thus the difference in the price tag between the two amongst other things. Thanks for your time. :)jp
