1) Power 2) Torque 3) Handling 4) A seat/wheel/pedal combination that will allow the driver to adjust to a comfortable yet proper seating position (I subscribe to the one described by Vic Elford in his book, where you can flat foot the clutch and rest your wrist on the top of the steering wheel with your shoulders flat against th e seat at the same time)

Those little wind wing windows, my 1978 and 1983 Dodge vans have them. Back in the 1970s I owned a 1950 Ford car, manual shift transmission with over drive, six cylinders. I used to shift gears without taking my hands off the steering wheel, it was that easy.

Yep and I can add a hundred good reasons all my cars are pre-1968, for example, no seat belt tickets no VIN on my steel dash. I can draw my full wiring diagram from memory in two minutes etc.

If you like government designed cars, buy one. I don't.
