Origin?? My bug is Type 11 Someone advertised 11/d??

I have a 1960 Bug, the plate says Type 11. Made in W. Germany.

The guy that sold it to me has a 1967 Type 11/d for sale now..

What is that /D?

Is mine a type 11/D?

Is that the origin code?

Can some please help me figure out what mine would be?
