I have a 1998 V40 with A/C and std heater controls and I would like to upgrade to an ECC (Electronic Climate Control) unit. I believe the unit is self contained with a single socket at the back.
To fit, is it just the case of detaching the existing heating control unit and plugging in the ECC unit as a direct replacement or is it more involved?
As always all help/ experience appreciated.
