The safety tests were:
IIHS frontal offset impact IIHS side impact IIHS rear impact
The ratings varied from Poor to Marginal to Acceptable to Good.
The Volvo got Good ratings on all 3 tests. The Infinite got a Poor rating for the IIHS rear impact. The BMW only got one Good rating and a Marginal for IIHS side impact and an Acceptable for IIHS rear impact. The Lexus got 2 Good ratings and a Marginal IIHS rear impact. The 2 Mercedes-Benz both got 2 Good ratings and an Acceptable for IIHS side impact.
The Volvo was also the least expensive.
