took my wifes 2001 Passet to the vw dealer for an oil leak they replace

SORRY IT IS A 2001 V6 5 Speed NOT 99 or 2001.

Could be caused by:
1-bad sensor 2- electrical plug fell off 3- cam timing not correct-especially if they removed the timing belt to do the repair.4- yes they maybe at fault.
guess i used the wrong code scanner turned out to be the coolant tem got new one from the dealer for $6.00 they wanted $250.00 to instal took 10.min. did it myself,,,,,,, thanks for all the hel
