You are NOT qualified to service the AC. Spend the $29 to take it to an AC service shop.

Boy, it costs $29 for an AC shop to show you where to locate the Low Pressure side of the AC system. What a RIP.

The low pressure side is the hose/line connected to the receiver/dryer, that "can" on the firewall. That line will be cold when the A/C is working. Also, avoid that "someone's" advice, at least about A/C.

I have a 1985 Van "Clubwagon" and the low side line runs along the firewall, where the quick connector resides. The receiver/drier is up front beside the radiator.

Oh yeah... the kicker is that plastic channel.
There's no big accumulator bottle as those use the Expansion Valve system
