Really, really stupid question

I have a 1997 2.0L VW Jetta GL Automatic - Does anyone have any diagrams or anything concerning how to tighten up the accessory belts in these vehicles? I used to be a honda owner, and while I LOVE my new car I'm not used to working on anything but an old Civic. In my old car, all I had to do if the belts got to squealing was adjust where the alternator sat. I went to try and do this in my Jetta today and... Well, let's just say that now I'm on the internet looking for help. Anyone?

if this is the engine i think it is, it should be self tensioning via the idler pulley. if it's slipping you'll either need a new idler or a new belt
