Can you swap a 350 from an 89 into this truck if it came with the 454 in it? Do you have to change computers or anything else or will they swap fairly easily? Do they both use the 700r4 transmission? any insight appreciated

The only thing you will have to change is the computer and maybe some wiring gm used the same motor mounts on all of the sb and bb and the same bolt pattern for trannys until 99. I would go to a salvage yard and look for a 1500 and take the wiring and computer from that Daniel
