climate control when switched to defrost or floor 60%of the air comes out the vent can you tell me why this is

If the air always wants to come out there, regardless of door settings, you could have the seals on the door gone (they're usually just foam and will erode away over the years) or the door could be actually jammed open from something being in there or a screwed actuator (etc etc etc!!!).
